Blizzard keeps denying this name, but the leaks usually don’t lie!

If you look at Blizzard’s Gear Store, you might find T-shirts and a poster with a suspicious name: Diablo Reign of Terror. This name could mean two things (and Blizzard could confirm it at BlizzCon in November).

Diablo III, which hasn’t received an expansion since 2014’s Reaper of Souls, could have its next expansion under this title. Also, it could also be related to the next Diablo game – the name is right in our face, which is why it doesn’t look too ominous or out of place. However, let’s see what Blizzard‘s reaction was: „These are names and copy used for some of the new products available at BlizzCon this year, and not direct references to content at the show,” a Blizzard spokesperson told GameSpot.

We’d still bet on them trying to fool us, though. The name could either mean the next Diablo III expansion’s name, or the new game’s subtitle. As Blizzard WILL have a Diablo-related announcement in November, we’ll find the answer shortly! (Also, they could also prepare cross-play in Diablo III, which was denied by them recently…)
