Yakuza 7 will change the saga completely

SEGA announces “drastic changes” for its franchise with the next video game in the series.

Toshihiro Nagoshi is the great creative name of SEGA at the moment and has spoken with the GamesTalk portal about his intentions with the Yakuza saga from the next instalment of one of the star franchises of the Japanese company. The goal? Offer great changes

“We have launched Judgment recently (in Japan), and that has also been part of the experimentation that will come hand in hand with this change,” said the creative / executive. “The energy that we are pouring into this is on par with how hard we work to make the first Yakuza, we are looking forward to the day when we will surprise you with the changes .”

One of the ways in which they will surprise us is also through basic things like the change of protagonist. “Changing from Kiryu Kazuma to Kasuga Ichiban has been a good idea to reflect that spirit of change,” he continued. “If the personality is modified, so do the objectives, and if the objectives are modified, so does the video game, they speak differently, and they think differently.”

“In the end, they are changes that will allow us to open new paths and alter that notion of` it’s a Yakuza game, right? It’s just about going around a city, right? ‘”He wanted to emphasize. “This time we are trying to think about how to put more comic touches and humorous scenes that connect with the whole game and that have an impact on the emotions of the players.”

SEGA has given the first tracks a few days ago about the characteristics of the new Yakuza, a game that at the moment has no launch date or definitive name.

Besides all this, Sega has advanced that seeks a young actress and model to play one of the leading roles in the action.

It will be the companion of Kasuga, but little else is known by now. The Japanese have advanced that the actress who gets the role will participate in various promotional activities in addition to putting his face in the video game. For all this you will receive a prize of one million yen.
