Steam exceeds a whopping 1 billion registered accounts

The platform has 90 million active users per month.

In the midst of the war over the dominance of PC bazaars, there will be data that will help more than one developer to decide where to launch his videogame: Steam, since last April 28, has 1,000 million registered accounts.

Obviously, the data does not have to translate into 1 billion people, because as it happens on any platform along the way many double profiles or bots are lost, but it does reflect that the Valve platform maintains a pleasant state of health.

The 1,000 million accounts, according to information from Techraptor previous step by Steam ID Finder, corresponds to Amusedsilentdragonfly. Registered on April 28, your profile adds value in SteamID3 – a portal identifier – of U: 1: 1000000000. In other words, before him, there were other 999,999,999 entries.

Last January, Steam announced that it had 90 million active monthly users, something that shows that the records on the platform are not only to appear but also to enjoy the many proposals hosted in the store.
