Apparently, there will be no Splinter Cell in E3 2019

The new adventure of Sam Fisher, in fact, would not even be in development at the moment.

Bad news for fans who had any hope, however remote, to see in E3 2019 something of the expected new game of Splinter Cell that has been rumoured in recent years. The journalist Jason Schreier, one of the most reliable when it comes to advancing news, has assured that there is no new title of Sam Fisher in development at the moment.

He has done so in a relaxed atmosphere, and within the framework of the Splitscreen podcast, in which he has stated that he has “asked a handful of people related to Ubisoft because everyone wants to know if there is a new game of Splinter Cell”, declares Schreier. “Everyone I’ve talked to has said no, according to them there is no Splinter Cell in production.”

This news is very similar to the message emitted by Yves Guillemot himself, president of Ubisoft, at the beginning of April when he gave explanations of the reasons why there is not a new Splinter Cell yet, although the fans claim it with insistence.

The information, of course, is far from official and, in fact, there is still room for a surprise to spring up. Do you want to follow the Ubisoft conference at the North American fair?
