We Weren’t Disappointed In Pornhub’s 2019 Review

Pornhub releases an annual recap each year, and they never forget including the console, video game-related aspects either.

It’s not an issue to admit that sometimes, consoles could be used to access adult things. Each console can go online, whether via WiFi or a LAN cable. And it happens – you can read Pornhub’s 2019 review here. We’ll go into the subjects relevant to us (but no, not into things such as the most used search terms per country…).

Console-wise, the platform that was used to create the biggest traffic this year was PlayStation (no differentiation between the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4), taking 51.5%. The Xbox (same here with the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One…) took 34.7% to claim second place. The remaining percentages were shared by several platforms, but the third place went to the PlayStation Vita with 9.1% (porn on the go?), followed by the Nintendo Wii U (4.3%), and the remaining 0.4% went to the Nintendo 3DS. Most of them are dead platforms (well, the 3DS is still somewhat active). (Where’s the Nintendo Switch?) Year-on-year, the PlayStation Vita showed a 23% increase, followed by the Xbox’ 5%. The PlayStation decreased by 5.2, and the Wii U dropped by 5.6%, respectively.

This year, Overwatch was the most searched video game (we’ll write the year-on-year difference, if there isn’t any, it’s a new title – +8%), followed by Fortnite (-17%), Pokémon (+21%…), Minecraft (we don’t understand this one: +34%), Apex Legends, a Resident Evil (wow: +213%), and Mortal Kombat (+102%). Apex Legends quickly got into the search results: its record was erected on February 18 by 357701 searches. (It probably erected something else, too.)

Finally, the five top searched video game characters, followed by the year-on-year difference and the number of searches: Zelda (5659671, +138%), Lara Croft (4671161, +12%), D.Va (4430066, +102%), Super Mario (4153269, +96%), and Bowsette (3312818, -174%).

The rest can be read on Pornhub’s site.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
