A psychologist uses Zelda: Breath of the Wild to treat cases of Fortnite addiction [VIDEO]

The Nintendo Switch title,  Zelda: Breath of the Wild message goes beyond entertaining.

Fortnite has been rated by many people as one of the most addictive games of recent years. Therefore, many parents have come to experts on suspicion that their children put aside their lives to spend most of their time in the Battle Royale of Epic Games.

Today we get a very curious story from the hand of the psychologist Michaël Stora, who specializes in this type of addiction. Stora has decided to deal with this type of case through another video game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, bringing a new therapeutic use of the Nintendo title.

This peculiar psychologist points out that this Zelda delivery provides different messages to players, such as progressing by oneself, not competing against others and solving certain problems that could be used in real life given their level of immediate response. In addition, both the characters and their narrative make The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild a multifaceted title with therapeutic uses still undiscovered.

This initiative has been very well received within the community and is already being implemented, although no information on its effectiveness has been provided. At the moment, the use of a player’s titles to improve certain educational aspects seems like a good practice that helps video games be considered more than mere entertainment.
