Up to now exclusive to PS4, Horizon Zero Dawn confirms its launch on PC

Horizon Zero Dawn – Without concrete details about the adaptation, the Guerrilla game points to the summer of 2020 and confirms its premiere on Steam.

At the beginning of the year the rumours began to sound that pointed to the launch of Horizon: Zero Dawn on PC, and finally, Sony has confirmed the news. One of the great exclusives of PlayStation 4 will disembark on computer this summer, without its release date having been finalized for now.

It was the former head of Guerrilla Games in charge of making the announcement public, without going into more details because he believes that it must be his creators who talk about this adaptation. “Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn will be released on PC this summer … there will be more information coming from Guerrilla,” Hermen Hulst said in an interview with the PlayStation blog.

This announcement comes just a few days after Amazon cited the launch of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, which will be released on this new platform just over three years after its original release. Little has taken Steam to update its database confirming that Horizon Zero Dawn will be on the platform, and will do so with a full version that includes The Frozen Wilds , the expansion that presents us with new challenges in an icy scenario.

Taking into account that last year another of the great exclusives of PS4 was released on PC, as was the case of Detroit: Become Human in the Epic Games Store , the Sony manager has been asked if other PlayStation exclusives will follow him same steps. It is not ruled out, although it makes clear that there are no plans to make simultaneous releases.

“In my opinion, Horizon Zero Dawn fit perfectly on PC,”

but insists that for now they continue to focus on their strategy to dump all their efforts into a single hardware. ”

This work of Guerrilla Games, authors among others of the Killzone saga , is one of the PS4 catalog video games most loved by platform users, thanks, among other reasons, to a fascinating mix of future and past in a huge world open where the action is frantic, direct and reward, as we tell you in our Horizon: Zero Dawn review.
