Marvel’s Iron Man VR: When Can We Finally Don The Iron Man Armour?

The coronavirus global pandemic caused this game to be delayed by Sony, but we might have received a final date.

We’re in turbulent times now, and we’re not saying that because the next-gen consoles (the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X) are around the corner, but because the COVID-19 was the reason why Sony delayed two games due to „distribution and logistical challenges,” which then, in turn, caused a third game to be delayed. We talked about this before – first, Marvel’s Iron Man VR and The Last of Us Part II was delayed, but Naughty Dog’s game got a new release day (June 19), which in turn caused Ghost of Tsushima to slide back by a month to July 17.

However, until now, Camouflaj’s PlayStation VR-exclusive game, Marvel’s Iron Man VR, was kept in the dark! The game, which was first planned to arrive on May 15, was announced by Sony on Twitter that it will be available from July 3!

„Don the PlayStation VR headset to suit up as the Armored Avenger in an original Iron Man adventure! Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.

Using two PlayStation Move motion controllers fire up Iron Man’s Repulsor Jets and blast into the skies with an arsenal of iconic Iron Man gear at your fingertips. Face off against one of Iron Man’s greatest foes in high stakes, action-packed battles. Upgrade tech in Tony Stark’s garage to customize Iron Man’s sleek armour and awesome abilities,” PlayStation.com reads.

So expect the game from July 3. One and a half months of delay is not that much.
