F1 2020 New Features, Including The New Podium Pass [VIDEO]

Codemasters highlights several features on video that players will discover from July 10 in F1 2020 on PC and consoles, like the new Podium Pass.

F1 2020 is scheduled to launch in less than a week, just a few days after the Formula 1 World Championship kicks off in Austria this weekend. It is perhaps for this reason that Codemasters have been pleased to present a brief but informative video with several of the characteristics of the racing video game, including the addition of a new Podium Pass.

This inclusion will allow players to unlock free customization items by competing in their favorite game modes and earning experience points. Cosmetic incentives include car liveries, competition gear such as gloves, overalls and helmets as well as celebratory emotes on the podium. Also confirmed is a VIP update that offers a further level of editing and additional challenges that you can achieve within the game.

“Each season will include enough game money to purchase the next VIP Podium Pass,” they add.

It is not the only feature of F1 2020 that we have been able to see highlighted in this trailer. In this sense Codemasters announces a greater integration with the F2 and the possibility of betting for shorter seasons while also celebrating several improvements on the track such as a more natural handling of the ERS and the introduction of a virtual rearview mirror that facilitates the identification of opponents

F1 2020 has confirmed its launch on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on July 10 also having, among its new features, a My Team mode.
