Lust From Beyond: Sex And Horror [VIDEO]

If you get turned on by H.P. Lovecraft’s and H.R. Giger’s work, then this game is recommended for you.

Yes, we wrote „turned on” in the previous sentence, so let’s get the usual warning out of the way: the following game is about adult topics, so it might not be suitable for work, and read further at your discretion. We warned you.

In the video below, you will see sex, nudity, gore, and even a lot of blinking (which means if you suffer from epilepsy, please do NOT watch it!), albeit somewhat censored, but this is just the beginning. If you feel a bit of a Deja Vu, then yeah, it might sound similar to a game we discussed a few days ago.

Lust From Beyond is made by the same team that developed Lust For Darkness, and it’s a „psychological horror with occult and erotic themes” that is „inspired by the works of Lovecraft and Giger.” Think of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, but here, you act like a rabbit. As a member the Cult of Ecstasy, which worships „an otherwordly erotic deity,”  you want to enter the realm of Lusst’ghaa.

In case you are interested, you can grab a free demo from Steam by clicking here. The problem is, you can explore the cult’s HQ, yes, but what is erotic in this? It has trails of blood, Giger-like caverns and whatnot, not to mention the demons with tails and tentacles, but… you get the point.

The style is there, but we have the same question as with Succubus (which also has a demo, we wrote about it): the game wants to do something too hard, only to fail at it in the end. So it’s an edgy game that might not be getting mainstream attention.

It has a release date, unlike Succubus: Lust From Beyond will launch on September 24.
