Ubisoft Delayed Two Of Its Games!

One of them will only arrive next year, while the other one will still arrive in 2021, but at a later date.

Let’s start with the game that got the bigger delay to 2022 (and it’s not alone: Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Lord of the Rings: Gollum, „God of War: Ragnarok”…): Ubisoft Montreal’s Rainbow Six Extraction was planned to launch on September 16, but now, the statement confirms a new launch window, namely January 2022.

„Our ambition with Rainbow Six Extraction is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games. With unique features like Missing In Action or The Sprawl, every mission is set to be a tense and challenging experience in which you’ll lead the elite operators of Rainbow Six in a fight against a lethal and evolving alien threat.

We are embracing the opportunity to take additional time to bring this vision to life in the way it deserves in January 2022. We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play. We look forward to sharing more with you very soon!”, Ubisoft wrote.

Then, there’s Ubisoft Annecy’s announcement regarding Riders Republic, which was previously planned to start on September 2. That is no longer the case. Here’s their statement: „We can’t wait for you all to hit the Republic in our upcoming beta! This will be the first time you get to go hands-on in this massive multiplayer playground and we are looking forward to hearing what you think.

To ensure we can deliver the best game for all players, we’ve made the tough decision to delay our release date from September 2 to October 28. This will give us more time to fine-tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback. We’ll have more to share soon, so stay tuned!”, the French company claims.

Rainbow Six Extraction will arrive in January on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Epic Games Store/Ubisoft Store), and Google Stadia, while Riders Republic will arrive on September 28 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Epic Games Store/Ubisoft Store), Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
