Xbox Series X Already Has a Great 4K Interface, Night Mode, and More Features With Its New Update

Members of the Xbox Insider program had previously tested the resolution on the Xbox Series X.

Microsoft continues to enjoy the success of the Xbox Series X. Its new-generation console was very well received at its official launch on the market along with its sister S and continues at a good pace of sales despite the problems with the shortage of components. Not long ago, we learned that it would receive two new external storage units, but it also continues to improve internally.

The Xbox October update is loaded with new features, such as implementing 4K resolution in the Xbox Series X interface. The home screen, guide, and other menus have been upgraded from 1080p to native 4K, offering a sharper image for panels that support this output.

Another notable addition is the night mode. This adjusts the light sources to try not to disturb too much when we play in the dark and thus help us if we are especially sensitive to light. Add a blue light filter, and we can dim the light on the screen and the power buttons on the console and controller.

Finally, changes have also been made concerning facilitating quick access to accessibility settings. You can alternate between the different functions without leaving the games or applications that we have open and activating or deactivating them depending on the person using the console at all times.

On Xbox, they continue to have a clear strategy: adding subscribers to Xbox Game Pass while offering more possibilities concerning their services and their video games. Regarding the latter, it is worth highlighting its objective of expanding into the Asian market, although to promote the development of exclusive titles, the idea of buying new studios is still being considered.
