Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS5 Offers Two More Free Costumes for the Premiere of No Way Home

Spider-Man is adding an update to his costume collection that is only available for the remaster of the video game.

Coming December 16 is the new Marvel Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home ( Spider-Man: No Way Home ), which has been a highly anticipated premiere among fans. The MCU also has a couple of surprises tied to the movie, including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered, which is a PS5 facelift of the PS4 game released a year ago.

So Sony and Insomniac have recently confirmed that they’ll be launching a small update in December that will make the two free costumes inspired by the movie directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, etc. even more appealing.

As pointed out from Polygon, this content is not expected to come with any extra in-game extras, so it will only change Spider-Man’s appearance, but that should be enough for fans who want to take on the mockery of the current cinematic Spider-Man. The update will be available on December 10, almost a week before Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere, so presumably it will be a suit worn by Tom Holland in the film, rather than any other possible Spider-Man appearing in the film.

The download is also exclusive to the PS5 version, with no word on whether players of the PS4 PlayStation exclusive version will be able to get their hands on the costumes. We’ve previously reported that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been confirmed, with Venom as the main villain, and Marvel’s Wolverine, starring the X-Men hero, is also coming.
