Guerrilla Games has released new images of Horizon: Forbidden West and guarantees that the experience on the old console will be as good as the latest generation.

 

 

In showcasing the various new features of Horizon: Forbidden West, Guerrilla Games is focusing on the PlayStation 5 version of the console, which will be available in 2020. However, the game will also be released on PS4, in a version that will be worthy of the creators’ huge ambitions.

At least, that’s what the Dutch team wanted to demonstrate when they published four images of the upcoming game captured on Sony’s older console. “We’ve showed you a lot of footage of Horizon: Forbidden West on PS5 so far, but the game also looks – and plays – stunning on the PlayStation 4,” the team behind the Killzone saga posted on Twitter.

 

 

 

 

For now, we’ll have to wait for more details on how the game performs on previous PlayStation hardware.

Horizon: Forbidden West will be available next February 18 for PS5 and PS4. It offers to take Aloy and us on new journeys through the dangerous and fantastical lands of the “Forbidden West”, where we’ll face new and mysterious threats, including clashes with bigger and more imposing machines.
