Fallout TV Series Production Starts In 2022, In Partnership With Bethesda and Amazon

MOVIE NEWS – The Fallout production stars Lisa Joy and Westworld creator Jonathan Nolan as executive producers.

We’ve been through the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout many times before, but there’s still a lot we haven’t seen in this dystopian universe. However, Bethesda’s approach to storytelling remains unbroken, which is why we were delighted to see the confirmation of their Amazon Studios-produced series. Now it looks like the production, which will be helmed by Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, will begin production later this year.

Jonathan Nolan will direct the first episode of the series.

Deadline reported this, which highlights the production’s imminent start with new contributions from two showrunners, Captain Marvel screenwriter Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Portlandia and Silicon Valley writer Graham Wagner. In addition, Jonathan Nolan has confirmed that he will direct the first episode of the series, which will feature Fallout’s set story and location.

No details have yet been released about the series’s direction, so no definitive premiere date is known. Although it will be set in a post-apocalyptic world familiar from the video games, no details have been given about the plot or the main characters. So the series may not see the light of day for some time.

What we do know is that Amazon Studios has its eye on other video games, as it has already revealed that it intends to make a Mass Effect series (which its director has long foreseen). Nothing has been confirmed about BioWare’s space adventure, but Henry Cavill, who plays Geralt in The Witcher series, among many others, has already said he’d like to be involved…
