Hogwarts Legacy Stops Delay Rumours: Official Harry Potter Website Confirms 2022 Release Date

In recent days there has been a talk that the Hogwarts Legacy could go to 2023

Hogwarts Legacy is one of those titles that Harry Potter fans have waited for many years. A game where you live a student’s life at the school of witchcraft and wizardry. In recent days, some reports suggested that the development was not going as well as it should and that it could be delayed to 2023, but if Warner Bros. insisted on its release, now we have news even closer to the project.

Through a statement on Wizarding World, the official website of the universe created by J.K. Rowling, they have firmly reiterated that Avalanche’s game will arrive in 2022 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles. They leave no doubt: “Hogwarts Legacy is coming this year,” they state in the headline itself and then go on to talk a little more about it.

“Developed by Avalanche Software, this action RPG allows players to live their own adventure in the magical world of the late 1800s,” reads the text. “From learning powerful spells and brewing potions to honing combat skills and taming magical beasts, this game will allow players to experience the magical world like never before as students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.”

All of this information comes from a review of everything planned for this year related to the franchise, which also has a new Fantastic Beasts movie planned for April and various special events around the world, such as exhibitions and concerts. We will have to wait for confirmation of a definite release date for the game, as we only have the year at the moment.
