Far Cry 6 Collab With Stranger Things: The Game Will Be Free This Weekend

Far Cry 6 will debut its new Stranger Things centred mission this weekend for free.

In October 2021, Far Cry 6, the latest numbered instalment of Ubisoft’s popular franchise, hit shops worldwide and, like the company’s other games, continues to expand the experience with new content. The last few months have seen the addition of the franchise’s various villains, but there are also free updates.

This is the case of the one that starts this Thursday, 24 March, in collaboration with Stranger Things. This is one of Netflix’s best-known international series, and in the small teaser with which they have announced the partnership, we see a Demogorgon that will surely make things difficult for us. Under the name of The Vanishing, we only know that it is a free mission, so we will have to wait to see what it finally consists of.

Along with this addition, those who don’t have the game will also be able to try it out at no extra cost in the coming days. Ubisoft has announced that there will be a free weekend from 24-27 March, available to play in single-player or co-op with a friend. This limited-time trial applies to PC, PlayStation and Xbox, but not Google Stadia.

Those wishing to make use of these free days can pre-load the game right now, which is handy given the download size. This will be large because it will make all of the game’s content available to players, including missions that have been added since the game’s launch last year.

Those who are convinced by the experience of this sixth instalment can take advantage of the various offers available in the digital shops of each platform, with up to 50% off.
