In addition to its special design, the LX3 offers unique functions and solutions that allow users to adapt the gaming experience to their individual needs. The size of the image displayed on the screen[4] can be adjusted, for example, according to their individual preferences or the genre of the game they are playing. Fans of role-playing games (RPGs), racing games, or platformers will likely want to take advantage of the full screen size, while fans of real-time strategy (RTS) or first-person shooter (FPS) games may prefer the 32- or 27-inch display, which allows allows them to instantly see everything that is happening in the game environment. The image resizing function is easily accessible from the convenient Gaming Dashboard menu, where users can also choose the position of the smaller game image on the screen.

The new Game app, exclusive to the LX3, features custom screensavers and control shortcuts for popular apps like Twitch and YouTube, as well as viewing connected external input devices in one place. The OLED Flex received a renewed version of the LG Gaming Optimizer: in addition to a wide range of image and sound settings ideal for gamers, the function also provides customized sound settings adapted to each game genre. The sound settings interface developed specifically for games can be used to turn on and off the equalizer, artificial intelligence-controlled sound control (AI Game Sound) and Dolby Atmos, as well as other cutting-edge sound settings are conveniently accessible, so users can adjust the gaming experience to their own taste in every detail.

This means they can simultaneously play a PC or console game while watching YouTube videos streamed from their smartphone.

The Switching Hub function also provides maximum convenience: gamers can use the LG OLED Flex’s built-in microphone, as well as devices connected via USB ports, such as a headset, keyboard or mouse, with a PC connected via an HDMI cable. By pressing the source selection button on the side of the LX3’s stand, users can switch back and forth between using PC and LG OLED Flex without having to physically disconnect or reconnect anything. Meanwhile, the microphone built into the TV provides effective echo filtering for crystal-clear chats while playing.

The LX3 also guarantees excellent sound: there are two 40 W speakers on the front of the device, which make watching TV and playing games even more complete. And with built-in Dolby Atmos support, the television makes the sound of content compatible with the function even clearer, fuller and more vivid.
