Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: It’s A Bug-Parade For Now; Here Are Some Spectacular Ones! [VIDEO]

Ugly and sometimes useless UI? Flying players? These are just a few of the most annoying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bugs that have flooded the web.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 receives negative feedback from players frustrated with the game’s UI. One fan has produced a video in which he has collected several examples of the user interface being less than user-friendly. Of course, when any game is released, there are bound to be a few glitches here and there. But many fans have high hopes for the new CoD. So their frustration with problems and bugs is growing by the day.

Redditor FeelsMoxxiMan posted a video highlighting all their frustrations with the UI problems in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

He reported that the UI is not only aesthetically unpleasing but also has functional problems. These prevent players from interacting with the game to any decent degree. The scroll bars sometimes do not work when clicked. Players have to memorize camo styles from 186 different options. Indeed, the user interface does not allow them to go directly back to something they were looking at. Infinity Ward addressed some Modern Warfare 2 UI issues last month, but it seems that wasn’t enough.

FeelsMoxxiMan points out even more frustrating details about the game’s UI, such as the fact that some boxes are offset by just enough pixels to make them look slightly off.

Also, clicking on the receiver in the gunsmith sometimes kicks the player out of the gunsmith UI quite simply. While these are minor issues, together, they significantly detract from the gaming experience. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players demand changes to the UI.

It’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s a Modern Warfare 2 player!

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player was quite surprised to witness an opponent flying aimlessly in the air during their online game. Okay, we’ve been waiting a long time for a hard-hitting Superman game, but not in the CoD universe…

The video uploaded to Reddit by u/iamjeli, which r/CallOfDuty moderators have since removed, paints a different picture of the game’s generally favourable reception.

In one of the few potentially game-breaking problems discovered in the program, just days after its release, the player’s character can be seen looking into his binoculars when an opponent appears in the top right corner of the screen, seemingly in mid-air. There is no aircraft in sight, just an enemy model constantly flying up and down, firing at the POV player who cannot resist this unorthodox technique.

The Superman role-playing game never stops. The flying enemy continues to fly, hovering much higher than it should until the distance becomes too great to display, and it disappears. One commenter stated that this phenomenon was so common that they quit in frustration. Modern Warfare 2 glitch videos have also started circulating online. One of the details is a method by which players can fly across the map. Meanwhile, they gain otherwise impossible altitude, which some use to perform trick shots.

The initial shine of Modern Warfare 2 is starting to wear off as more and more of these launch bugs come to light, and critics are voicing their opinions that some feel the narrative sequel is not very bright.

Whether it’s the tagging glitch that causes opponents to be visible throughout the match, the ever-growing list of missing features or the weapon tuning that causes weapons to crash constantly, dissatisfaction with Modern Warfare 2 is growing. In a year when post-launch content for FPS titles has often stumbled, such as Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite, fans are no doubt hoping these problems will be fixed soon and will not persist.
