Xbox Game Pass: The Penultimate 2022 Update

Microsoft has listed what Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get in early December. There’s a good chance there will be one more update this year.

Already available are Eastward (console [Xbox Series, Xbox One], PC, cloud), The Walking Dead: The Final Season (console, PC, cloud), and Totally Reliable Delivery Service (PC). On December 6, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (console, PC, cloud) and Hello Neighbor 2 (console, PC, cloud, launching on Game Pass) will join. On December 8, Chained Echoes (console, PC, cloud, launching on Game Pass) and Metal: Hellsinger (Xbox One; previously available on Xbox One, PC, and cloud) drops; High On Life (console, PC, cloud, Game Pass-fresh) and Potion Craft (console, PC) follow on the 13th; then Hot Wheels Unleashed – Game of the Year Edition (console, PC, cloud) and Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan (console, PC, cloud) on the 15th.

As a reminder, Microsoft has just one game, Battlefield 2042, available for console, PC, and cloud via EA Play. Only two DLCs were mentioned: Need For Speed Unbound will be available early access for ten hours (the game is out today anyway) courtesy of EA Play, and Conan Exiles: Chapter 2 is coming on December 6. Apple TV+ and Apple Music are free for three months for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members as a perk.

Finally, a list of games that will be leaving the service on December 15: Aliens: Fireteam Elite (console, PC, cloud), Breathedge (console, PC, cloud), Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition (console, PC, cloud), Firewatch (console, PC, cloud), Lake (console, PC, cloud), One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 (console, PC, cloud), Neoverse (console, cloud), Race With Ryan (console, PC, cloud), Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth (console, PC, cloud), Rory McIlroy PGA Tour (console – EA Play), and Transformers: Battlegrounds (console, PC, cloud).

That’s a pretty conservative list.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
