GeForce Now: New Super-Heavy Hardware Added To Nvidia’s Service?!

TECH NEWS – The powerful RTX 4080 arrives with an updated subscription to GeForce Now – details and more news on Nvidia’s service!

Good news for users subscribed to the full GeForce Now bundle. Nvidia’s service has already delivered some serious goodies. But now the tech company is taking it a step further and introducing the ability for gamers to enjoy next-generation graphics with the latest RTX 4080 GPU.

What does this mean? Well, as revealed at CES 2023, Nvidia will be renaming the most expensive GeForce Now subscription to GeForce Now Ultimate, introducing new features like full ray tracing, DLSS 3 technology and a new 240 Hz mode to go alongside the power of RTX 4080 graphics.

Users who have signed up for the most comprehensive dedicated RTX 3060 bundle to date will automatically upgrade to GeForce Now Ultimate at the end of January for those in the United States. For those in North America or Western Europe, this will be available in the first quarter of 2023.

In addition, it’s also important to add that Nvidia demonstrated the implementation of Reflex support in the service at its keynote. This will reduce latency to unprecedented levels in cloud gaming. The company’s technology thus surpasses the performance of the Xbox Series X, running at 60 Hz.

GeForce Now – in our car?!

In another announcement related to Nvidia’s service, GeForce Now is coming to cars. The tech company will stream AAA games in parked vehicles in partnership with Hyundai, Polestar and BYD. No details on the expected performance of the platform or a launch date for the feature have been shared yet.

After all, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen video games implemented in vehicles, with Tesla being one of the most recent examples of this trend.

In addition to the specifics of the streaming service, it’s worth noting that Nvidia’s CES 2023 keynote also saw the official announcement of the much-rumoured GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card. The company has confirmed the product’s price along with the release date, which we won’t have to wait long for as this GPU will be available from January 5.
