Go Steam, Go – New Free Games Added To The Store!

Every now and then, excellent games are added to the Steam Store, and you can add them to your library for free.

Right now, Steam users can claim four games for free. To be precise, you can play Snakedate, Antbassador, IndependANT and Octodad: Student Edition without paying anything.

Recently, gamers were able to grab Desktop Dungeons for free on Steam, giving them access to the game, which received an 82 score on Metacritic.

Players should note that this offer is no longer available, as it expired on Tuesday, April 25 at 11:00 pm CT. However, users can currently claim four other games on Steam, all of which are new releases.

ComicBook reports that Snakedate, Antbassador, IndependANT and Octodad: Student Edition are now available for free. It is unknown whether these games will remain free forever or if this is just a limited-time offer. But users should claim them as soon as possible, just in case. All four titles are published by Young Horses and are said to be part of the “Young Horses: Free Range Initiative”. These games are all newly added titles. They appear to have been released on the platform on April 25 2023.

Free games on Steam:

  • Antbassador
  • IndependANT
  • Octodad: Student Edition
  • Snakedate

Octodad is probably the best-known game on this list. This is thanks to its sequel, Octodad: Dadliest Catch. As well as the release of Bugsnax from the same developer. Fans should note that Octodad: Student Edition is the 2010 release of the original game. Octodad: Dadliest Catch is available for purchase on various platforms.

Snakedate, as the name suggests, is a dating app for snakes, while in IndependANT, players take on the role of a brave worker ant.

Finally, in Antbassador, users take control of a giant human finger. The aim is to try and make our way through an ant colony. At the time of writing, all four games have little or no rating on the service. It is, therefore, difficult for players to form an opinion on their quality. However, this offer will allow gamers to try new titles for free, making their Steam library even bigger.

In addition to these games, users can also check out several free-to-play titles on the same site. Many of them have incredibly positive reviews. This list includes popular games such as Apex Legends, Warframe, Dota 2 and many more. This gives players a wide range of options to choose from.
