The first images have been released from Taylor Sheridan’s now official series Special Ops: Lioness, which will be available exclusively on SkyShowtime

MOVIE NEWS – Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan’s Special Ops: Lioness (formerly Lioness) stars and is executive produced by Zoe Saldaña, who also serves as executive producer Oscar®-winner Nicole Kidman, Laysla De Oliveira and Oscar®-winner Morgan Freeman also play the main roles.

 

The long-awaited spy thriller series will be shown exclusively on SkyShowtime later this year.

The first images from the long-awaited spy thriller series Special Ops: Lioness (formerly known as Lioness) have been released, which will be available exclusively on SkyShowtime later this year. Created by Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan, the original series stars and executive producer Zoe Saldaña, who also serves as executive producer, along with Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, Laysla De Oliveira and fellow Oscar winner Morgan Freeman. Special Ops: Lioness is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

Special Ops: Lioness is based on a real-life program and tells the daily life of Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), a tough but passionate young marine who was organized to into the Lioness team to help take down a terrorist organization from the inside. Saldaña plays Joe, the head of the Lioness program, whose job it is to train and manage the female operatives who have been inducted.

Special Ops: Lioness stars Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur and Hannah Love Lanier and Emmy Award® nominee Michael Kelly in a recurring role. The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone and John Hillcoat.

The spy thriller is the latest in an ever-expanding range of Sheridan series available on SkyShowtime, which includes 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown , Tulsa King and Yellowstone can also be found.
