A fearless Bladur’s Gate 3 streamer can conquer even the toughest challenges in the game. Of course, once you find out who it is, it makes sense…
The limitless creativity that Baldur’s Gate 3 provides results in amazing things, especially when it comes to combat. We’ve seen players defeat larger bosses with hamsters. Others called on capitalism to help them win.
These results may seem to reduce the game to a walking gallop. But manipulating Baldur’s Gate 3 in this way clearly requires some skill.
If that’s still in doubt, this latest demo comes from Twitch streamer luality, who, among other achievements, beat Dark Souls 3 with a level-one character using a dance pad.
She was not satisfied with this monumental achievement. Luality also took Baldur’s Gate 3 on an epic boss run. She beat the best the game could throw at players. Even in a single turn, solo, thanks to some crazy build crafting.
A boss like Raffaello can really wear down players, thanks to the small army of minions he summons. But luality takes care of him and his buddies in no time. Using a few buffs and multi-target arrows, she takes out up to eight enemies in one round.
While this is probably luality’s most impressive feat in Baldur’s Gate 3, she also performed a few other miracles. Taking out Ketheric Thorm and Myrkul’s Apostle in a single turn, thanks to an ungodly amount of action points is just one of them.
Her primary strategy revolves around stacking Luck of the Far Realms and Executioner-type buffs for extra crits.
In addition, she somehow managed to optimize her build to take four or five actions per turn, which means that she goes through these encounters without companions.
This allows her to do things like destroy Grym in a single turn by pumping four overpowered arrows into him after a well-timed sneak attack. Its mass usually requires players to lure it under the Adamantium forge’s hammer. However, luality doesn’t have time for all that…
Players who saw her chronicle of this particular boss run were floored by luality’s quick cleanup. It really could only have been more impressive if she did it all on the dance pad. True, due to the turn-based combat of Baldur’s Gate 3, this would have slowed it down a bit…
