Could a LEGO Zelda Be Coming? Rumors Are Already Flying Around the Internet!

There is a rumor that an official Legend of Zelda LEGO set may be available for Nintendo fans later this year.

Popular rumors suggest that fans of The Legend of Zelda franchise may be getting their own official LEGO set for the series later this year, according to a new leak. Although few details are known about the potential LEGO collaboration, LEGO sets based on The Legend of Zelda franchise have been talked about for years, and such discussions have become much more widespread following rumors that surfaced around this time last year.

The explosive popularity of the many new Zelda games released over the past few years has led many to hope that the series is yet another Nintendo IP ready to be officially partnered with LEGO, although unfortunately the Super Mario franchise has been the only Nintendo-owned product to receive this honor. While The Legend of Zelda doesn’t have its own official LEGO set, many Zelda fans have created their own unofficial LEGO sets featuring some of the locations and characters from the Kingdom of Hyrule.

After Tears of the Kingdom, the case for a LEGO Zelda game is stronger than ever

Tears of the Kingdom gives players almost unlimited freedom in Hyrule, making it the perfect toolbox for a LEGO Zelda game.

Interestingly, new information from a respected LEGO fan and leaker known as 1414falconfan has rekindled hope for at least one official Legend of Zelda LEGO set. The set will reportedly contain around 2,500 pieces in total and will feature the Great Deku Tree, a popular and long-standing character that has appeared in many Zelda games. According to the leaked information, the LEGO set will be released sometime this September, although it is not yet clear if this will be a one-off set or a sign of a longer and more complex collaboration between LEGO and Nintendo.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these leaks may not be entirely accurate, and unfortunately, the hope that this LEGO set will be official is essentially nothing more than a rumor for now. In the meantime, creative gaming fans will continue to use LEGO to show their passion for their favorite games, with tons of fan-made LEGO sets being created for popular franchises like Halo, Pokemon, and countless others. Some of these sets are even featured on the LEGO Ideas website and receive significant community support, such as the popular fan-made No Man’s Sky LEGO set.

While it’s up to fans to see these leaked sets see the light of day, Nintendo’s Super Mario x LEGO collaboration shows that the Japanese video game giant is not averse to the idea of official LEGO sets based on its games. With The Legend of Zelda firmly established as one of the industry’s most iconic and recognizable franchises, Nintendo’s LEGO collaborations are sure to expand in the future.
