If you enjoyed the base game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, get ready—MachineGames has finally confirmed when the next DLC is coming. Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, has long wanted to boost the IP of cinema’s most famous archaeologist after the game earned rave reviews on Steam. The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 has now revealed that The Order of the Giants expansion arrives September 4.

We already knew MachineGames was working on more content for the latest Indiana Jones title, but now we can mark the date. If you’re eager to become Indy once more, The Order of the Giants drops for everyone on September 4. And as always, there’s a new mystery to unravel and ancient ruins to explore.

If you played Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, you already know where this expansion is heading. Still, MachineGames teased a little more: “Uncover a stunning mystery long hidden deep within Rome. A new chapter in the story takes Indiana Jones to the ancient streets of Rome, where long-forgotten catacombs transform into something far more sinister. Indiana must outwit a dangerous cult and solve puzzles crafted by emperors to uncover the dark legacy of the Nephilim giants.”
