Bendy: Lone Wolf – The Dark Secrets of the Studio [VIDEO]

Joey Drew Studios has revealed the release date of their new game, and while physical editions are on the way for two platforms, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for those versions.

Bendy: Lone Wolf puts your survival skills to the test against overwhelming odds. Monsters and traps lurk in every corner as you sneak through the rubber-lined halls of the world’s most sinister animation studio. Every day is a struggle. You play as Boris, diving deep into the procedurally generated corridors of Joey Drew Studios in search of supplies, weapons, and disturbing truths. Mechanical secrets hide around every corner.

The cartoon horrors from the Dark Puddles are unleashed to stop Boris on his grim mission. Fight them off with perfectly timed attacks and smartly placed traps. Smash them back into the shadows before they drag Boris away. The Ink Demon stalks your every move. Nowhere is safe. Run. Hide. Play the deadly game of cat and mouse, and stay unseen when you hear the thump of its inky heart.

Joey Drew Studios gets a little self-aware in this one — Boris poking around their own haunted studio is as meta as it gets. The team is best known for its Bendy IP. They’ve previously released Bendy and the Dark Revival, a first-person horror survival game, and six months ago announced Bendy: Lone Wolf — with no word on mobile versions like iOS or Android. Meanwhile, Bendy and the Ink Machine is rumored to be heading to PS5 and Xbox Series. Bendy, clearly, is still their big draw.

Bendy: Lone Wolf will launch on August 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The physical edition, published by Silver Lining Interactive, will arrive for PlayStation 5 and Switch on October 24, two months later.
