Control Ultimate Edition: An iPhone and iPad Port for Jesse Faden!

Remedy Entertainment has brought Control to Apple’s phones and tablets, and maybe there is a hint here too that the spin-off, FBC: Firebreak, underperformed.

A corrupting force has invaded the Federal Bureau of Control, and only we have the power to stop it. The world itself becomes our weapon in a large-scale fight to destroy a sinister enemy across deep and unpredictable environments. Containment has failed, humanity is at stake, and the question remains whether control can be regained at all. Winner of more than 80 awards, Control is a visually striking third-person action-adventure that can keep players pinned to the edge of their seat. By blending open-ended environments with the signature world-building and storytelling of Remedy Entertainment, Control delivers an expansive and deeply satisfying experience.

Control Ultimate Edition is now available on iOS. The developers have added touch controls and reworked parts of the user interface and gameplay systems, including aiming and puzzle interactions, to make sure the experience works well on supported touch-screen devices. The game runs through Metal and also supports ray tracing on compatible hardware. Are we ready to face the Bureau’s darkest secrets? Players can dive into a supernatural struggle filled with strange events and unexpected characters while searching for a missing brother and uncovering the truth that led Jesse here in the first place. Destruction can be unleashed through transforming weapons and telekinetic powers.

The port lets players discover new ways to destroy enemies by turning the environment itself into a weapon. It also invites them to descend into the ominous depths of a secret government agency, explore the shifting spaces of the Bureau, and gradually realize that nothing inside it is ever quite what it seems. Through tense missions and challenging boss fights, players can earn upgrades that maximize Jesse’s abilities and allow them to customize her arsenal.

Control originally launched on August 27, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, on October 30, 2020 for Amazon Luna and Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming, on February 2, 2021 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and on July 27, 2021 for the now-dead Google Stadia. The iPhone and iPad version is now available on the App Store for $5.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
