[SGF 2026] Soulframe: Jennifer English Speaks to the World of Alca in a New Trailer [VIDEO]

Digital Extremes has released a new trailer and screenshots for Soulframe during Summer Game Fest 2026. The latest look at the fantasy adventure game features a new performance by Jennifer English, appearing in character as Alora, the Empress of Eldveil.

Digital Extremes, the studio behind Warframe, has shown more of Soulframe with a new trailer and fresh screenshots. The new footage features Jennifer English as Alora, the Empress of Eldveil, while the studio continues to emphasize that the game’s development is being shaped by community feedback. Creative director Geoff Crookes described the chance to work on this world and its characters as “a dream come true.”

“Working with the team to bring this world full of heartfelt characters to life is a dream come true,” Crookes said. “We’re so thankful to have opportunities to collaborate with such cool people to be able to share this new trailer with audiences around the world who might be a bit curious about Soulframe or maybe might even be learning about it for the first time today. To all our current and newfound potential players, we look forward to playing with you and creating this adventure together. Community is a keystone of our development cycle, and we’re eager to iterate on your feedback.”

Soulframe is heavily influenced by themes of nature and restoration. The game promises a personal journey of discovery through a handcrafted fantasy world, where players can be joined by friends online. Their goal is to restore the broken land of Alca and its corrupted Omen Beast protectors by inheriting the Virtues of Courage, Spirit, and Grace from their Ancestors. Powerful abilities, ancient weapons, magick, and stealth all play a role as the game uncovers a personal story of birthright and the growing clash between nature and industry.

Anyone interested in playing can already explore Soulframe for free on PC through Soulframe Preludes, an early Alpha playtest available by signing up on the game’s official website. This first look is designed to let community feedback guide development. Players who gain access to Soulframe Preludes will also keep their completion status throughout the development cycle, meaning their progress will not be lost on the way to the full release.

Players joining the Soulframe Preludes access queue are selected randomly each week. Those who do not want to wait can instantly unlock access by becoming a Founder. With that structure, Digital Extremes is keeping the door open to curious players while expanding the test audience at a controlled pace, letting the world of Alca take shape alongside the community rather than entirely behind closed doors.
