From now on, the game will be known as The Guild Remake: Europa 1410. It’s a fitting title, as it reflects exactly what the game is: the spiritual heir to the original Europa 1400: The Guild, not a follow-up to the life-sim adventures of The Guild 2 or The Guild 3. You might ask yourselves, “Why does the game need a new name?” The name change reflects the feedback received so far. Many fans discovered the series through The Guild 2 or The Guild 3, games with their own beloved life-sim flavor full of personal drama, romance, and character-driven storytelling.

While both are great games, Europa 1410 is not trying to be that kind of game. The new title clarifies this before players click “wishlist.” The developers want people to know exactly what they’re signing up for the moment they see the name. There will be no mismatched expectations, just a medieval tycoon experience done right.
