[GC] Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – New details and screenshots have emerged

The promotional campign for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has really launched – there are three new things we can talk about right now. First off, Konami has announced that the game’s A Hero’s Way mission will be playable at Gamescom, plus they will also release new gameplay footage and trailer on August 5, the first day of the Cologne show.

And now for the bad news: there’s an online segment being developed for the game, which will be out on no less than five platforms on September 1, as the PC release got brought forward to the same day as the consoles’ release date. However, Metal Gear Online got delayed: the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 online segment will start on October 6, and the PC version got delayed to January 2016. Is it because of the current working environment at Konami…?

And to end on a positive note, several new screenshots have emerged because of the Gamescom event – it’s not exaggarating to say that Hideo Kojima’s game, which has an 80 million dollar development cost (this doesn’t even include marketing costs yet!) will almost definitely get the money back, but Konami is prefering mobile and pachislot development nowadays…

Cool! I think we will love the new multiplayer, but the truth is that: MGSV must have an amazing single-player campain, if it will not cool enough, the players will be very dissappointment…
