Nioh: this is what the chosen ones could see [VIDEO]

When we saw Nioh last year at the Tokyo Game Show, we immediately called it the Japanese Witcher. And really, the protagonist of the game looks just like CD Projekt RED’s Geralt! The game was shown more extensively to a few lucky people and journalists behind closed doors. Thankfully, Koei Tecmo, who’s not a widely popular publisher nowadays due to the Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 debacle, published the video.

Watch out for this game. Not only we say this because it is an upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive title, but also because of the story. It takes us to the 16th century Japan, where we will get to control the son of a Western woman and a samurai – this premise gives Nioh an interesting taste, so to speak.

The joke is that Koei originally announced the game back in 2004! They almost got to Prey levels of delays but at least this game is going to launch in 2016…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
