NES Classic Edition: The Final Sales Figures!

Finally, Nintendo has revealed the quickly came and gone little NESsales performance.

Nintendo of America’s president, Reggie Fils-Aime has told Time that the NES Classic Edition, which came with thirty preinstalled games and an HDMI connection, has shipped 2.3 million consoles worldwide since its November launch, but this figure is unlikely to increase any further, as the product has been discontinued. In early February, the little NES was at 1.5 million, which means the demand was there for it all along…

Nintendo has to deal with other issues: the Switch keeps running out of stock (and for a good reason, we wrote about how good its sales result is at the moment), they revealed the hinge-having 2DS XL just recently, and they are also rumored to work on the SNES Classic Edition. Rough times…
