A New The Walking Dead Game Is In Development! [VIDEO]

Aside from Telltale, another game is working on a The Walking Dead video game adaptation.

The publisher, Starbreeze, has confirmed that Overkill‘s (Payday) The Walking Dead, which is going to be a four-player, cooperative FPS (Payday mixed with Left 4 Dead?), is going to launch in 2018. Of course, the announcement doesn’t end there, as there is also a character introduction video – the first trailer is for Aidan, and while we cannot get a lot of information out of the video, at least the long-developed game is finally in the news.

Overkill‘s game is set in Washington, D.C., and the four characters will be participating in quests and raids, with all four of them having unique skills and skill trees. The game will be out next Autumn on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It already looks better than 2013’s The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
