PlayStation Experience 2017 – Uncharted: Outstanding Sales Figures!

Naughty Dog‘s franchise is selling like hot cakes.

PushSquare reported that the Uncharted franchise, which first showed up on the PlayStation 3 in 2007, has a total of 41.7 million sales, and this number includes The Nathan Drake Collection, which launched two years ago, offering the first three games’ PlayStation 4 ports. The number was announced by Naughty Dog at the PlayStation Experience.

The last time we heard an official sales figure was over 1.5 years ago: in May 2016, Uncharted was at 28 million, according to Shawn Layden’s, the American PlayStation boss’ comment that you can find on FoxBusiness. With a little maths, it means that in about eighteen months, the franchise achieved roughly fourteen million sales!

The numbers likely include the bundle sales as well, so Sony might have tricked us by including the games that were boxed next to the PlayStation 4s. Still, congratulations to Naughty Dog!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
