The Witcher will have an anime movie on Netflix by the authors of The Legend of Korra

MOVIE NEWS – Lauren S. Hissrich, screenwriter and producer of the series, will also work with this project.

The fans of the adventures of Geralt of Rivia and company are in luck: after the success that has reaped the first season of The Witcher on Netflix and the certainty that the next one is on its way, now it’s the turn of an anime movie called The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, a name that had already leaked a few hours ago. It will arrive “soon”, say those responsible.

Little is known about the plot for now, except that it will revolve around ” a new threat to the continent.” We do know, on the other hand, that behind the script are Lauren S. Hissrich and Beau DeMayo – in charge of the main series – and that Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra, Voltron: The Legendary Defender) will work on animation.

The Witcher series will begin filming its second season in February, although its arrival on the streaming platform still seems quite away. For now, we settle for knowing that it will be more focused, that the characters will cross each other more and that the rhythm of the story will be more intense than what is seen at the moment.
