Cyberpunk 2077 celebrates the launch of Death Stranding on PC by portraying Hideo Kojima on the iconic Yaiba Kusanagi motorcycle.

 

Death Stranding has just debuted on PC and some of the main personalities and companies in the video game world have wanted to echo this event. This has been the case of CD Projekt RED and its expected Cyberpunk 2077, whose official Twitter account has decided to honor Hideo Kojima by publishing a dedicated illustration.

 

 

In it, we see the father of the Metal Gear saga and Death Stranding uploaded on the famous motorcycle Yaiba Kusanagi, which will remind many of the iconic motorcycle from the movie Akira, a design that has penetrated deep into Japanese audiovisual culture.

Congratulations on the PC launch of Death Stranding, Kojima-san and the team!” Says the publication of Cyberpunk 2077. Along with the text we see the illustration of Kojima in Cyberpunk 2077 next to the real photo of the legendary designer portrayed on the Yaiba motorcycle.

 

 

Will we see some kind of cameo from Kojima in the new CD Projekt RED game?

It is still a bit to find out, since Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on November 19 of this year (along with subsequent releases on PS5 and Xbox Series X).
