We’re Getting Loads More Games In PlayStation Plus’ Catalogue, Also New Features!

Sony’s new PlayStation Plus service launches in June with dozens of classic and current games, and PS Plus Premium level will give players new tools to play classic PS1 and PSP games, among other things.

When Sony announced the reorganisation of PlayStation Plus, adding Essential, Extra and Premium packages to the service, many users were eager to find out which games would be included in the new catalogue. With just over a month to go until Sony’s PlayStation Plus new service launches in Europe, they’re already looking to whet players’ expectations with a complete list of titles coming to the subscription service.

The new PlayStation Plus will arrive in Europe on 22 June.

At the end of this article, you’ll find all the PS5, PS4, PS3, PS1 and PSP games making their debut on the revamped PlayStation Plus. It’s worth noting that the company has not yet revealed the titles for the PS2 generation.

Save, rewind, and other new features on PlayStation Plus

Sony says some classic PS1 and PSP games will run better on PlayStation Plus Premium than on the original PlayStation and PlayStation Portable consoles. This means fans can expect better frame rates and higher resolution retro games. Not least some PS1 and PSP games will also feature brand new user interfaces, giving players extra tools to make the retro gaming experience easier with PlayStation Plus.

Simply put, retro games have mechanics that have, ahem, poorly aged, such as checkpoints at an obscene distance and frequent deaths. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can save selected games from PS1 and PSP whenever they want, and in addition, they can rewind games. It’s not yet clear which games will offer these features and which won’t, or why there’s any difference at all, but more information will be available either closer to launch or when the PlayStation Plus service launches in June.

Here’s the complete list of PlayStation Plus games:
