The Sisters of Battle of Adepta Sororitas – that is, an inquisitor from their ranks – join the merry heretic/demon/Xeno extermination.

After a much longer development time than expected, a new class is finally coming to Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. We’re talking about an Inquisitor with an Adepta Sororitas background from the militant wing of the organization (Sisters of Battle). His goal is to purify heresy through the use of blessed flames, hallowed steel and unwavering faith in the Emperor of Mankind. These warrior-sisters are among the Imperium’s staunchest defenders. The Sororitas class will be released first for PC on November 28th, with consoles to follow shortly after that.

The Sororitas Class DLC will add the following content to the game:

• A new playable class: An Inquisitor with an Adepta Sororitas (Sisters of Battle) background
• New game mechanics: Embodied Saint form, Acts of Faith empowerments
• New items and item types: Flamers, Blessed Blades, Power Mauls, Power Halberds and more
• New passive skills
• New perks
• New enchants

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is an action RPG in the style of Diablo 3 or Path of Exile, and recently received a native PS5 release, which you can see live in the trailer below. This “Ultimate Edition” has generated some controversy, given that the PS4 version ran great on its new-gen sibling. However, the new native edition is much more than just a tune-up. In addition to the many improvements and enhancements, it includes all the DLC released so far. If you’re a fan of the genre and might have missed out on Martyr, now’s the time to give it a shot.
