MOVIE NEWS – Former Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll has spoken about her possible return to Born Again.

 

 

Charlie Cox is ready to don the Man Without Fear red suit again in Daredevil: Born Again. However, audiences are also hoping for the return of other previously familiar and beloved characters, such as Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll.

Despite rumours before the series, which is currently on hiatus due to a writers’ strike, it has finally been confirmed that neither Elden Henson nor Deborah Ann Woll will return for the new adventure.

They both starred in the Netflix series. The former played Murdock’s best friend, Foggy Nelson. The latter played the secretary of their law firm, Karen Page. Two characters who are very important in comic books.

It has not yet been confirmed whether new actors will play the roles. Unlike, for example, Vanessa Fisk, originally played by Ayelet Zurer. However, she will be replaced by Sandrine Holt in Daredevil: Born Again. For this reason, fans still hope the actors will not appear in the first season. Or their appearance will be treated as a surprise by Marvel Studios. However, this seems unlikely.

 

Deborah Ann Woll breaks the silence

 

The actress shared disappointing information about her future at Marvel during a Q&A panel at ICCCon in Nashville. This came after she was asked if she would join the DCU:

“There’s no, you know, no plans for me so far on either side of the comic book universe… but I’m so grateful for the experience that I had.”

Woll may have no place in Marvel Studios’ future. But as DC builds a new canon with James Gunn, it’s possible she’ll find a role in the superhero world alongside the competition. A good choice would be Poison Ivy. A character that many fans have already envisioned the actress in.

For now, alongside Cox, D’Onofrio, Beltran and Holt, the cast of Daredevil: Born Again includes Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Nikki M. James, Michael Gaston and Arty Froushan.
