MOVIE NEWS – SkyShowtime has announced that the third season of the hit series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will arrive on the platform on August 4th and will be available exclusively on SkyShowtime.

In the third season, we will meet again the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise and their leader, Captain Pike. The story continues where the second season left off: with the shocking conclusion of the encounter with the reptilian Gorn. But new life forms and civilizations await them, including an enemy that will test the courage and determination of the characters. The classic Star Trek story takes a new and exciting turn in the third season. Characters, both old favorites and new, undergo profound character transformations as they embark on adventures that challenge their faith and sense of duty, as well as romance, comedy, and mystery—in genres never before seen in Star Trek.

The series is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Starring: Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn.
