Cyberpunk 2077: A Lot Of New Details By The Senior Level Designer [VIDEO]

Miles Tost mentioned several subjects in the video below.

In the newest Cyberpunk 2077 Community Podcast, Tost confirmed that CD Projekt RED has an entire team to work solely on the open-world design, which is so complex that even he finds content that is completely fresh for him. Its exploration will be important, as there will be several surprises for the players to be discovered. The moment you are done with the prologue of Cyberpunk 2077, you can go wherever you want. However, keep in mind that there will be higher level enemies that will hinder such exploration. (Let’s hope that it won’t be as annoying as in Wolfenstein Youngblood.)

Cyberpunk 2077 will allow you to go crazy at any time to cause havoc in Night City. Tost confirmed that in no time, the city’s police force will be out there, branding V as a Cyberpsycho, followed by them trying to take you down. However, there will be other Cyberpsychos on the street, and you might even meet them to trigger special events. Some might need to be fought, though, and a few of these encounters will be part oy the game’s story. Tost expressed that all the decisions will impact the story experience, combined with the life path and skill choices, and even the quests will take them into account, resulting in a different experience.

The combat has been improved – Tost says the environmental destruction got expanded since we have seen it the last time, making the combat more visceral and reactive than before. Other Netrunners will try to hack V, and they will come with the perks that we can also unlock, and the result will be a few challenging encounters.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on November 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X will support it from day-1, but their next-gen patch, as well as the Google Stadia version, will likely see the light next year.
