The Last Of Us Part II: Naughty Dog Takes The Lead In Another Aspect

Naughty Dog‘s PlayStation 4-exclusive that released two and a half months ago got completed by many players.

Ungeek reports about how most of the players of The Last of Us Part II have completed the story, with the following screenshot.

So most players have stuck by Ellie’s story, reaching the credits in the progress. (The same can’t be said about Grounded or Permadeath – we mentioned both modes recently, and their completion ratio is FAR LOWER!) But if we compare this 58% with other PlayStation 4 titles (including exclusives), this figure is significantly high: Final Fantasy VII Remake – 53.3%, God of War – 51.8%, Marvel’s Spider-Man – 50.7%, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy – 50.3%, Detroit: Become Human – 49%, Ghost of Tsushima – 38.2%, Horizon Zero Dawn – 34.5%, Days Gone – 34%, Death Stranding – 29.3%, Red Dead Redemption II – 28.6%

So Square Enix JRPG’s first part (because no, Final Fantasy VII’s story did not end yet) got dethroned, and behind it, we see Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica’s and Insomniac Games’ PS4-exclusive on the list, respectively. Then there’s another Naughty Dog title, a Quantic Dream game (that is also available on PC by now), the recently released Sucker Punch title, followed by Guerrilla Games’ adventures that is also available on PC, and the list reaches its end with SIE Bend Studio’s, Kojima Productions’, and Rockstar Games’ title. Days Gone and Death Stranding did not get a lot of people completing them, and Red Dead Redemption II’s rate is even worse…

Still, this list justifies Sony’s ideas and ambitions. They want to continue focusing on single-player titles. The PlayStation 5 will likely have a game that will see a similar completion rate, and it’s probably going to be an exclusive title no less.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
